TF - House Crashers 3

Everything was quiet now; all the houses dark, the streetlights lit; nothing could be heard but the gentle breeze drifting through the trees.

And nothing could be seen, except for the metallic bodies creeping towards the house.

They quickly made their way to the door, unlocking it with ease before slipping inside; who would think to put an alarm in this neighbourhood anyway. Looking around the dark living room, the blue being quickly opened a kitchen window, allowing their metallic four-legged creature to climb through. The two bipeds smirked; no way could they mess this one up, especially with the element of surprise on their side.

It would be too easy.

Copper's eyes shot open, head looking up. Something wasn't right.

He sniffed the air. Someone was home, but it sure wasn't Hunter's scent. It was more...metallic.

He gently rolled Maya off his body, the girl complying despite being deep asleep before hopping off the bed to peek out the door; even in dreamland Maya knew that if Copper 'had to go' she'd have to move.

Then he saw them; three metallic-looking figures in the dark, coming through the door and the window. They were probably here for something…or someone.

Copper growled inwards; they must be the Decepticons he heard so much about! Though the last the he had seen them, they were much bigger. But that didn't matter to him right now; he knew they were here for Maya.

But they be damned to think he'd let them take her; he'd have to get Maya out and soon.

However, this situation did call for a certain distraction or two…

"Where do you think she is?" The red and black Cassetticon whispered, looking around. The black quadruped gave a quiet growl, nodding towards the stairs, "Of course she'd be sleeping in her room," the blue one grinned, "You keep on lookout Ravage, in case someone comes," Ravage growled, a little put off that he had to be a watchdog, but slinked out of the front door. Why'd they even bring him inside then?!

The red one, Frenzy, snickered a bit, "This'll be a piece of energon Rumble! Of course the Autobots would send the humans back, not stopping to think that they were the targets instead!" he cackled, only to get a smack from his twin.

"OW!"

"Can't you mute your vocal cords for a nanoclik?!" hisses Rumble, giving him a cold glare, "This may be an easy job but don't go and spoil it!" Frenzy rolled his optics, "OK OK whatever, let's get her and go already,"

Rumble groaned inwardly; why he had a brother like him, Primus only knew.

Both carefully snuck up the stairs, careful of their steps. They had checked before, the girl's room was to the right, so they carefully opened the door.

The Decepticons looked around the room; where was the bed?

"Rumble? You sure this is it?" Frenzy whispered, checking around. His carbon copy nodded, looking up before noticing where the bed was.

"It's up here; look she's in it!" Rumble pointed out, Frenzy grinning gleefully. The red Decepticon quickly made his way to the ladder, climbing up as his twin handed him a syringe; hey, she may be asleep now, but they really didn't want to any chances if she woke up in the middle of all this.

"Hehehe, now this won't hurt too much…" Frenzy began to cackle.

Then he noticed something.

"Rumble?"

"What now Frenzy?!"

"Did the human have green optics?"

"No…why?"

Frenzy's vocal chip stopped working as he gazed into a pair of fierce emerald eyes. Then he heard a snarl.

"Oh frag,"

"GAH! SLAGGIN' PIT SPAWN!"

Maya got up suddenly, startled eyes looking around. What the hell was that?!

"Copper?!" Maya called out, hand over her heart. No sooner had she called his name did she hear more yells coupled with snarls and metal-hitting-metal. Maya got out of the bed, quickly running out of her brother's door.

"Copper?! What's going--EEEKK!" she shrieked, jumping back as a metal body was tossed out through her bedroom door. She stared down at the Casseticon, who was too busy scratching away at some reddish tinge on his metal surface.

"GET THIS RUST OFF ME!" Frenzy yelled, clawing at his face. Maya could only stare down at him, thinking only on how she hadn't known her itch potion could work on robots, before snapping back into reality.

"Frenzy?! What the hell are you doing in my---"

"INCOMING!"

Maya shrieked again, this time ducking as Rumble sailed over her head, crashing down at the foot of the stairs. She turned around just in time to see her four-legged friend pounce on top of the fallen Frenzy, said Con yelping from the impact.

"C-Copper what's going on?" Maya began to ask.

"No time Maya we gotta leave NOW!" he stated, growling at the blue bot beneath him, "Hurry up and get out of the house Maya! I'll catch up!"

"B-but--" Maya stuttered.

"NOW!"

This time Maya complied, quickly ran down the stairs; when the fox got like his, it was best to listen to him right away. She took a glance at Rumble, who unlike his brother, was covered in more gashes and dents than an organic creature could actually give a robotic being like himself; Copper must've gotten his paws on her metal-coat potion [what it does is hopefully self-explanatory].

Maya dashed out the door, bare feet trampling the asphalt down the driveway. She turned back, hoping very much that Copper was following after her. The poor girl was so worried about her friend's well-being that she didn't see the metallic creature pounce.

Maya screamed as she crashed onto the floor, pain shooting up through her body. Ravage just growled, claws sinking into her back as he kept the girl down. He looked around; what were those two idiots doing letting the target escape like this?!

"Get OFF me you stupid fat cat!" Maya blurted out, struggling to get up, "You're crushing my lungs!" Ravage snarled at her; fat?! How dare she?! He was NOT fat, metal is just very heavy.

"BACK OFF HER YOU FAT CAT!" Ravage suddenly let out a cry, feeling as if a train had rammed into his side, as he was quickly tackled off the girl. Maya gasped for air, trying to sit herself up; she wasn't kidding when she said her lungs were getting crushed. "C-Copper…?!" Maya choked out, looking for him. She stopped him not too far off, already in a heated battle with the black cat; to an untrained eye it looked like he was faring rather well. However Maya knew him better; he had already taken down two robots and was just keeping this one busy.

He didn't have enough energy to continue.

"Maya don't just stay there!" he barked out, dodging a swipe from Ravage, "Hurry up and go! Before something else comes!" he warned, tackling the cat again. Ravage snarled, getting him across the shoulder, making the fox yelp in pain. Copper yelped again when Ravage took him down, pinning him by his injured shoulder. It took Maya all she could to keep herself from screaming, tears falling hotly down her face. She never could bear it to see her friends get hurt like this, especially not for herself.

"There she is!" Maya heard Rumble say; he and Frenzy must have recovered enough to get out of the house. Maya could see them coming for her but she couldn't move; it was like all her willpower to vanish into thin air. They all thought of her as the weakest, and maybe she was, letting others always come in to save her.

But never had she ever felt so frustrated at this as she did now.

"DAMN YOU!" she screamed suddenly, hands turning into fists. Both Cons stopped in their tracks, surprised by her voice. Even the two quadrupeds stop to stare; this human wasn't known for her anger.

"Stupid Cons! Do you think that I'm that helpless?! That I can't protect my own self?!" she questioned, voice lashing out at them, "That because I'm not like the others that I'm an easy target?! Well SCREW YOU! I'm tired of you always seeing me like that!" this time her voice dropped to barely a whisper, but it still managed to chill those listening to the core.

"Come near me or my friends like this again, and I promise I'll show you that I am NOT someone to be messed with, no matter how helpless I may seem…" she growled, unconsciously making her hands glow with rage. The Casseticons just stared numbly at her, not really sure what to make of this threat.

"Hey!"

Rumble and Frenzy jumped, startled by the new voice coming behind them. They turned only to be greeted by a pair of knuckle sandwiches.

And pretty damn strong ones too.

"GAH!" They yelled in unison, sailing past Maya, who suddenly looked confused. Ravage looked startled himself, giving Copper an opportunity get bite down on some of his exposed wires. It was then Ravage's turn to yelp in pain, and felt some more when a large shot was fired at him, making him tumble towards the other two. Maya just looked surprised at the new character before her.

"Hunter?"  

"Listen up and listen well!" Hunter growled, taking off his shades, "Coming a-knocking on MY house is one thing, but TRYING to steal away MY baby sister as another! Try this again, and I will make your lives a fucking nightmare!" he stated, cracking his knuckles.

Frenzy was about to retort, but stopped when he saw the male human's eyes; now he and the other Cons didn't know too much about humans [and didn't really care] but they were pretty sure it was NOT normal for them to have black eyes and gold pupils.

"And don't you think I'm fucking around with ya; I WILL make your lives a fucking' nightmare; you do NOT mess with MY family. Not now, not EVER!" he snarled, further freaking out the Cassetticons.

"Y-yeah, w-well," Rumble stuttered, getting up, "Y-You don't scare us human!" he spat out, his brothers nodding in agreement. A woman then walked up next to Hunter, holding out a rather large bazooka-like gun.

"Oh? He doesn't?" she questioned, arching an eyebrow, "Then I'm sure I do, as does my friend Big Boom here," she taunted, holding it up, "Don't be fooled; it's the same gun I used on you 'tards before," she stated, giving them her famous devilish smirk. Frenzy and Rumble gaped in horror; she was that crazy chick from before! Their target knew HER?!

"Oh frag NO!" Frenzy yelped turning around, "She's fraggin' NUTS! I'll take whatever punishment for this instead, I'm OUTTA here!" he yelled, hightailing it out of there. Ravage and Rumble quickly followed suite; that female was more trouble that it was worth it!

"Awwwww, ruin my fun why don't they?" Tanith mused, lowering her weapon, "And Joe got it all calibrated to test on them and everything," she sighed.

Hunter paid no real attention to his partner, quickly running to his baby sister's side. Maya was still in a daze when the older man grabbed her in a hug, "Maya! Are you OK?! You're bleeding!" Hunter started, voice full of anxiousness. Maya looked at him blankly, trying to process her brother being here all of a sudden.

"…I guess those charms really work huh?" she managed to say, a small smile on her face. Hunter paused before chuckling as he hugged her more tightly this time.

"I guess so Squirt; that, and my shift ended," Maya smiled, before remembering.

"Where's Copper?! He got hurt did you see?!" Maya exclaimed, frantically looking around.

"Don't sweat it Maya," Tanith called out. Maya looked over, spying the red fox hobbling over to them with the blue-eyed lady. Copper came over, giving his treasure a small lick on her cheek as a sign of his well-being.

"Coppers shoulder doesn't look too bad, we can get them clean and have Miki check it out later," Tanith promised, "Not to mention we should clean up yer own cuts and bruises too," Copper suddenly looked nervous, whining a bit, making Tanith roll her eyes.

"I'm pretty sure she'll only dress the wounds his time, and not the whole you,"

"Tell her I still don't wanna Maya!" Copper whined, giving her puppy eyes. Maya just frowned unphased, "Too bad, you're going! Miki's the only vet who'll understand anyway!"

"Awwwwww Maya!"

"I take it Copper doesn't want to be Miki's potential test subject again?" Hunter grinned, "You're a tough fox Copper, handling three Decepticons; Miki will not be that bad," he teased. Then he turning serious, "But Maya are YOU OK?"

"You asked that already,"

"You never gave me an answer though,"

"Oh…right," Maya paused, holding back tears. She wasn't even sure why tears were forming now; maybe since now it was all over did she realize just how dangerous this all was.

Of course her brother was quick to read her expression. He just carefully picked her up, allowing her to cry on him shoulder. Maya then just couldn't hold them back; tears just flowed down her face, staining his shoulders.

"Shhhh, it's OK now," he whispered, soothing her, "I'm sorry it's my fault, I never thought those Decepticons would think about targeting you," he apologized. Tanith nodded in agreement, patting the smaller girl's head.

"Yeah; you know my old man don't live around here, but we never thought they'd take us so serious a threat that they'd come after you," she explained, "But good thing Copper was here, huh boy?" Copper barked in agreement, though not too fond of that "pet" reference.

It was then Maya decided that she cried because she couldn't lie anymore; not after this, "They didn't come after me because of you," Maya whispered, head resting on her brother's shoulder. Both partners looked at each other confused; what was she talking about?

"But Maya," Tanith began.

"They didn't come after me because of you," Maya repeated more loudly this time, more tears streaming down her face, "I'm the one who's sorry, I should've told you sooner, but I was afraid of your actions," she struggled to explain.

"Hey hey, it's OK Squirt," Hunter tried calming her down, "Come on, let's go inside; you can explain over some hot chocolate OK?" Maya quieted down, sniffling a bit.

"With marshmallows?"

"As many as you want Squirt," he promised, already walking to the door, "You gonna stay the night Tanith?" Said woman nodded already flipping out her phone.

"Yeah, just gonna let Miki n Joe about what just happened; you're probably gonna need some extra hands fixing up the place again," she pointed out.

"You know if you call Miki she's gonna think we're do--"

"Finish that sentence and you're the one who's gonna feel the wrath of Big Boom,"

"But it's not like we--"

"The WRATH of BIG BOOM."

Copper just looked between the two, shaking his head. The two were still the same as ever. Maya just rested quietly in her brother's arms; because the Cons had tried to take her from her home, she really had no choice but to come clean. And in a way, she was glad; no more did she have to lie to her brother, and for all she knew maybe he was already in good standings with the Autobots.

Downside was he'd probably ban her from visiting the Autobots or worse, learn how she was more fond of a certain bot and try to go after him...

OK, so maaaaybe she didn't really have to come clean on that part juuuust yet…

But hopefully it'll just feel good to be honest to her brother again.
